A. Creator
The Logo was designed by Mr.Koichi Debuchi, who is a designer living in Kagawa Prefecture of Japan.
B. Explanation
The blue elephant symbolizes the Lao PDR and is in the shape of the number 6. The red circle, embossed with a sakura, or cherry blossom, represents Japan and is in the shape of the number 5.
C. To Use the Official Logo
This Official Logo has been created to symbolize the 65th Anniversary of Japan-Laos Diplomatic Relations in 2020. This Official Logo will be used for commemorative events in both Japan and Laos. Many commemorative events are planned this year and the Embassy of Japan welcomes your participation. Once your event is approved, you can use this Official Logo for your event and it will be listed on the Event Calendar of the Embassy of Japan in the Lao PDR.
